Enprag aluminium profiles are T-slot structural profiles for building frames, workstations, racks and machine guards. Sizes range from 30×30 mm to 45×90 mm with a slot width of 8 or 10 mm; the profiles are sold by the metre and cut to size, and for the KA and AL series the maximum length of a single profile is 4 m. They are part of the aluminium profile system and all come with a 2-year warranty.
Aluminium profile 30x30, 40x40 or 45x45: which size to choose?
The 30×30 mm profile – for example KA-3030 weighing 0.9 kg/m or MI30x30 B8 – suits smaller structures. The standard for industrial and more demanding applications is the aluminium profile 40x40 KA-4040 and its wider 40×80 mm version. For higher loads there are the heavy profiles KA-4040H and KA-4080H weighing 2.86 kg/m, and the MI45x45L B10 or MI45x90L B10 profiles. The range is completed by corrosion-resistant AL profiles 40×20×2 and 50×30×2 mm.
Bosch-type or item profiles: are the aluminium extrusions compatible?
Enprag aluminium structural profiles are compatible with item, Bosch Rexroth, Haberkorn, Alutec and other systems, so they can also extend existing structures. They are connected with joints for aluminium profiles and fasteners. Compared with the pipe modular system, they suit higher loads and more demanding operation; both systems can be combined in one assembly, most often in racks, trolleys and assembly workstations.
Aluminium profiles for machine guards and fencing
Enprag uses aluminium profiles to build machine guards and fencing, including lockable doors on hinges or on a sliding rail. The profiles are supplied as material cut to size, as cut material with assembly instructions and a production drawing, or as a finished structure; the material is in stock and delivered within a few days.
