Combined gravity flow rack ALUWEL1B for KLT containers and sheet metal
This combined gravity flow rack, built from a modular tube system, is designed for storing and picking materials in KLT containers and sheet metal parts. It brings both types of material together in a single structure with separate tracks. Typical applications include preparing materials for production, assembly or final assembly.
KLT containers move along the inclined roller tracks under their own weight towards the picking point. A separate track is provided for sheet metal parts. The rack therefore allows containers of components and sheet metal parts to be prepared at a shared picking point, with a dedicated space for each type of material.
- separate tracks for KLT containers and sheet metal
- load capacity per KLT track: 100 kg
- load capacity per sheet metal track: 50 kg
- total load capacity: 250 kg
- dimensions (H × W × D): 1 487 × 1 063 × 2 203 mm
Custom solutions: we adapt the rack dimensions and the layout of both sections to the containers and sheet metal parts you use. We take into account their size and weight, the required stock level and how materials are loaded and picked.
FAQ
When is it useful to combine KLT containers and sheet metal parts in one rack?
The combined design is suitable for workstations where operators use components from containers and individual sheet metal parts during the same operation. It allows both types of material to be prepared at the point of use, with their arrangement adapted to the workflow.
What matters when designing the sheet metal section?
The dimensions and weight of the sheet metal parts, the required stock level and the handling method are decisive. During the design process, we consider how parts are loaded and picked, then adapt the layout of the separate track and the space available to the operator accordingly.
