Connecting elements for rigid aluminium frames without welding
Aluminium profile connectors are metal and aluminium parts that join the profiles of the aluminium profile system into a rigid structure – at a right angle, at 45° or 135°, or in an L, T or X shape. They fit profiles of 30 × 30, 40 × 40, 45 × 45, 40 × 80 and 45 × 90 mm with an 8 or 10 mm slot; their weight ranges from 9 g for the small metal coupling to 0.3 kg for the KBH-40 swing coupling. Every joint can be loosened at any time and the structure rebuilt.
Angle brackets and joints for Bosch-type and item profiles
90° angle brackets range from 30 × 30 to 80 × 80 mm, some with a cover cap; 9 mm thick 45° and 135° angles join profiles diagonally, e.g. for bracing. The 093W404N10 and 093W421N10 angles are designed for 40 × 40 and 45 × 45 profiles with a 10 mm slot. Enprag aluminium profiles are compatible with item, Bosch Rexroth, Haberkorn and Alutec systems, so you can also add connectors and aluminium profiles to an existing structure.
L, T and X connectors, flanges and caps: when to use them?
The 40 × 40 × 40 mm cubic coupling joins 2 profiles at a right angle, while L, T and X connectors measuring 118 × 118 to 120 × 200 mm reinforce frames from the outside. The KFG-30 and KFG-40 corner flanges with an M6 or M8 thread anchor a profile or attach a foot. Open 8 or 10 mm slots are closed with 2,000 mm plastic cover strips and profile ends with end caps; screws and nuts can be found under fasteners.

Yes, Enprag aluminium profiles with 8 and 10 mm slots are compatible with item, Bosch Rexroth, Haberkorn and Alutec systems. Choose connectors by profile size and slot width – e.g. the 093W404N10 angle is for a 40 × 40 profile with a 10 mm slot.
Can aluminium profiles be combined with a tube system?
Yes, Enprag regularly combines aluminium profiles and the Ø 28 mm tube system in one assembly, most often in shelving, handling trolleys and assembly workstations. Profiles carry heavier loads, while tubes make reconfiguration easy.
Which connector joins two aluminium profiles at a right angle?
For right-angle joints Enprag offers 90° angle brackets from 30 × 30 to 80 × 80 mm, inner angles or a 40 × 40 × 40 mm aluminium cubic coupling. An L-type connector of 118 × 118 mm stiffens the frame over a larger area.
How do I cover the slot and the ends of aluminium profiles?
Enprag plastic covers for 8 or 10 mm slots come in 2,000 mm lengths and are cut to size as needed. Profile ends are closed with end caps, e.g. CAP-4040_BK for a 40 × 40 mm profile.
