Mobile gravity flow rack with roller tracks
The mobile gravity flow rack, built from a modular tubular system, provides organised storage and sequential picking of materials in containers. It is suitable for storage, material supply and order picking. Containers move along the inclined roller tracks under their own weight towards the picking point, without a motorised drive.
When the front container is removed, the next one moves into its place. Swivel castors allow the rack to be relocated as required, for example when changing the layout of the facility. Braked castors secure it in the chosen position.
- tubular frame with roller tracks
- 8 swivel castors with brakes, Ø 75 mm
- load capacity per track: 90 kg
- total load capacity: 450 kg
- dimensions (H × W × D): 1 778 × 1 380 × 2 500 mm
Custom solutions: we adapt the rack dimensions and the number and width of the tracks to the containers used, the required stock level and the available workspace. The design also takes into account the weight of the materials and how they are replenished.
FAQ
Which containers and materials is the gravity flow rack suitable for?
The rack is designed for materials stored in containers. During the design stage, we assess the suitability of specific containers based on their dimensions, construction and weight including contents. We adapt the roller track layout accordingly.
When is a mobile version the right choice?
A mobile version is suitable wherever you need to move the rack between workstations or change the layout to suit current production requirements. It allows you to adjust the position of the material stock relative to the picking point.
