Roller tracks Logiform – 35–85 mm gravity roller rails for flow racks

Logiform roller tracks are steel roller rails for building flow racks, FIFO supermarkets and gravity conveyors in the pipe modular system with Ø 28 mm pipes. They come in widths of 35, 40, 60 and 85 mm, with rollers of Ø 16–34 mm, in coloured and ESD versions and in a standard length of 4000 mm, which we cut to size. The tracks are complemented by holders and side guides. They are designed for supplying assembly lines and for FIFO storage applications. more

Logiform roller rails for flow racks and gravity conveyors

Roller tracks (roller rails) Logiform are steel profiles with freely rotating rollers used to build flow racks, FIFO supermarkets and gravity conveyors in the pipe modular system with Ø 28 mm pipes. They are supplied in widths of 35, 40, 60 and 85 mm with rollers of Ø 16–34 mm and in a standard length of 4000 mm, which we cut to the length you need. In a conveyor, the PL-401F track carries 100 kg per metre of length.

Roller track 35, 40, 60 or 85 mm: which width and roller to choose?

The most widely used roller track PL-401F is 40 mm wide, has a steel body and Ø 30 mm rollers at a 35.7 mm pitch, and weighs 5 kg at a length of 4 m; the rollers are white, grey, black or ESD black, on PL-401X_YL yellow. The whole range is in the 40 mm roller tracks category. For wider crates, use 60–85 mm roller tracks: roller track PL-601F_WM with Ø 30 mm rollers at a 37 mm pitch, PL-601F_WS and PL-601F_BK with Ø 16 mm rollers, and the 85 mm wide ESD track PL-851M_EM with Ø 34 mm rollers.

Flow rack and FIFO: what slope should gravity roller rails have?

In a flow rack, crates move by gravity to the picking point and are removed on a FIFO basis. The standard slope of roller tracks is 3°; Enprag adjusts it to the weight and type of crate, for KLT containers as well as cardboard boxes. A return lane for empty crates can be placed above or below the picking level, and powered conveyors are also available for a smooth flow between workstations. Tracks with a flange (raised edge) guide the transported material.

Holders and guides for mounting in the pipe system

The tracks are fixed to Ø 28 mm pipes with roller track holders – PM-4010A, PM-4010B and PM-4010BR for a width of 40 mm and PM-6010A for a width of 60 mm, all in stock. Side guide rails are in the guidance for roller tracks category.

Frequently asked questions

What slope should roller tracks have in a flow rack?

The standard slope of Enprag roller tracks in a flow rack is 3°. Our designers adjust it to the weight and type of crate so that crates reach the picking point smoothly and without impact.

Do roller tracks work with KLT containers and cardboard boxes?

Yes, Enprag selects roller tracks for KLT containers and cardboard boxes alike – depending on the base of the container, it chooses a width of 35–85 mm and rollers of Ø 16–34 mm. The 3° slope is then fine-tuned to the weight.

Where should the return lane for empty crates be placed?

Enprag places the return lane for empty crates above or below the picking level of the flow rack. Empty crates thus return for refilling without crossing the full ones, and in the Ø 28 mm pipe system one extra level of tracks is enough.

How much can the PL-401F roller track carry?

The Enprag PL-401F roller track carries 100 kg per metre of length in a conveyor, so a conveyor 1–4 m long carries 100–400 kg. The track is 40 mm wide, 4000 mm long and weighs 5 kg.
