The safe is a single-shell or double-shell safe without certification. Here you can find safes with safe key, with electronic lock, with a mechanical lock or fingerprint opening. Used to store small cash, documents and valuables in homes and small offices.
The safes are certified according to the ČSN 1143-1 standard. Individual classes are divided according to the value of the things that will be stored in the safe. For example, you can store valuables up to a value of approximately CZK 300,000 in a security class 0 safe, and you can store valuables up to a value of approximately CZK 16,000,000 in a security class V safe. You can find a rough overview of safety classes at kovovynabytek.cz. But it is always best to consult the insurance company with which you want to insure the contents of the safe.
A special category are safes for storing data carriers. These are to protect the carriers not only against theft, but mainly against fire. The walls of these safes are filled with a special material to withstand high temperatures. These special safes are exposed to temperatures over 900°C and the temperature inside must not exceed 52°C. If this temperature is exceeded, the data carrier is destroyed.
When choosing, it is also important where you want to place the safe. We have three basic types according to storage, furniture safe, wall safe or floor safe. The furniture safe is suitable to be built into the furniture. The main task is to resist prying. The wall safe is designed to be built into the wall. It is good to consider its location already during the construction of the building. The advantage of floor safes is their hidden location, but a major disadvantage is the demanding installation.
