Steel pipes are the main element of the pipe modular system – they have a diameter of 28 mm, a length of 4000 mm and a wall thickness of 0.7–2 mm. The surface is protected by an ABS coating or ECCO powder coating; the range also includes ESD pipes with a surface resistance of 10⁶–10¹⁰ Ω, stainless steel pipes and pipes with a sliding surface. Logiform Ø28 mm pipes for modular structures

Steel pipes are the main element of the pipe modular system: they have an outer diameter of 28 mm, a length of 4000 mm and a wall thickness of 0.7 to 2 mm. The surface is protected by an ABS coating or ECCO powder coating; ESD pipes with a surface resistance of 10⁶–10¹⁰ Ω and stainless steel pipes are also available. They belong to the Logiform pipes; a lighter alternative for structures with a load capacity of up to 500 kg are aluminum pipes.

Logiform steel pipes with ABS coating: 1 mm or 2 mm wall?

Logiform LP-1100 steel pipe has a 1 mm wall, LP-1200 a 2 mm wall; the ABS coating resists oils, salts, anti-corrosion oils and the cooling and lubricating fluids used in machining. Enprag designers recommend the wall thickness according to the load capacity and size of the structure, which is designed for a maximum deflection of 5 mm. ECCO pipes PP-1070MG to PP-1120MG in metallic grey with a 0.7–1.2 mm wall are compatible with HBL, Logiform, Creform and GS/Beewatec Ø28 mm systems. Special variants are the SL-1100_GR pipe with a sliding surface and a 5-year warranty and the LP-1100_SAFETY safety pipe.

ESD and stainless steel pipes: where to use them?

ESD steel pipe Logiform AP-1100_GR has a surface resistance of 10⁶–10¹⁰ Ω, weighs 676 g/m and comes with a 5-year warranty; ESD pipes are also available in black (CP-1100_BK, CP-1200_BK) and as ECCO pipes with a 0.7–2 mm wall. Logiform stainless steel pipes with a 0.7, 1.1 or 2 mm wall withstand high temperatures, light and chemicals, are fully recyclable and electrically conductive – suitable for the food industry and ESD environments. Pipe structures are intended primarily for indoor use.

What diameter and length do steel pipes have?

Enprag steel pipes have an outer diameter of 28 mm and a length of 4000 mm; the wall thickness is 0.7–2 mm depending on the type. The material is in stock and delivered within a few days.

What is the difference between the LP-1100 and LP-1200 pipes?

The Enprag LP-1100 pipe has a 1 mm wall, the LP-1200 a 2 mm wall; both have an ABS coating, a diameter of 28 mm and a length of 4000 mm. Designers recommend the thicker wall for a higher load capacity or larger structures.

Are the steel pipes compatible with other Ø28 mm systems?

Yes, the ECCO PP pipes offered by Enprag are compatible with the HBL, Logiform, Creform and GS/Beewatec modular systems with a 28 mm diameter. You can therefore also use them to extend existing structures.

When should I choose a steel pipe instead of an aluminium one?

Choose Enprag steel pipes for structures with higher loads; aluminium pipes are suitable for light structures with a load capacity of up to 500 kg. The difference lies mainly in the weight and the type of connectors used.
