Structural pipes Logiform Ø28 mm – steel, ESD, stainless steel and aluminum

Logiform structural pipes with a diameter of 28 mm are the load-bearing element of the pipe modular system used to build assembly workstations, shelving, carts and conveyors. They are supplied in a length of 4000 mm or cut to customer requirements, with a wall thickness of 0.7–2 mm, in steel with a synthetic resin surface, ESD, stainless steel and aluminum versions, with a 5-year warranty. They are connected with metal, plastic or aluminum joints, individually or in sets. more

Logiform tubes for the pipe modular system: 28 mm diameter, 0.7–2 mm wall

Logiform structural pipes are the basis of the pipe modular system. They have an outer diameter of 28 mm, a length of 4000 mm and a wall thickness of 0.7–2 mm depending on the material; Logiform pipes come with a 5-year warranty. Standard steel tubes are coated with synthetic resin that protects them in demanding industrial operation, and they are made in colours ranging from white, grey and blue to black, green, red and yellow. The pipes are used to build assembly workstations, shelving, transport carts and conveyors – and when production changes, a cart can be rebuilt into a shelf, for example.

Steel, stainless steel or aluminum pipes?

Steel pipes are the universal choice: the Logiform LP-1100 steel tube with a 1 mm wall weighs 676 g/m, the LP-1200 version with a 2 mm wall 1265 g/m. Stainless steel pipes with a 0.7–2 mm wall suit clean and humid production areas, while aluminum pipes with a 1.5 mm wall weigh only 380 g/m. Steel and aluminum differ mainly in weight and in the type of joints; pipe systems also withstand operation with oils and emulsions.

ESD tubes and joints for antistatic workstations

For electronics, Logiform tubes are available as ESD steel tubes with a 1 or 2 mm wall in black or grey, alongside ESD versions of the ECCO tubes. They are matched by metal joints in a nickel-plated ESD finish; the joints also come in black and silver, individually or as metal joint sets. Every ESD structure from Enprag is supplied with a protocol from a certified measurement.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between steel and aluminum structural pipes?

Mainly the weight and the type of joints: the Enprag Logiform steel pipe with a 1 mm wall weighs 676 g/m, the aluminum pipe with a 1.5 mm wall 380 g/m. Both have a diameter of 28 mm, so they stay within one modular system.

How do I choose the wall thickness of a structural pipe?

By the load capacity and dimensions of the structure – Enprag designers recommend the right thickness. Walls of 0.7–2 mm are available; structures made from pipe systems are designed for a maximum deflection of 5 mm.

Do you supply structural pipes cut to length?

Yes, Enprag supplies pipes in the full length of 4000 mm or cut to customer requirements, including assembly instructions and a production drawing. The third option is a fully assembled structure.

Are structural pipes available in an ESD version?

Yes, Enprag offers ESD Logiform steel tubes with a 1 and 2 mm wall as well as ESD versions of the ECCO and stainless steel tubes. Every ESD structure is supplied with a protocol from a certified measurement.
