ESD Antistatic Chairs

ESD antistatic chairs and stools for workshops, labs and electronics production

ESD antistatic chairs are work chairs and stools for ESD protected areas where electrostatic discharge is a risk – conductive materials prevent charge build-up and protect sensitive electronics. The range includes E-series workshop stools and chairs with a 130 kg load capacity and a 42–58 cm seat height, on castors or glides, plus upholstered Antares antistatic chairs with a resistance below 0.1 MΩ. Suitable for production, laboratories and service workstations. more

Anti-static chairs and ESD stools for work in protected areas

ESD antistatic chairs are work chairs and stools for ESD protected areas (EPA) where electrostatic discharge is a risk; conductive materials prevent charge build-up and protect sensitive electronic components. The E-series workshop chairs and stools carry 130 kg and offer a seat height of 42–58 cm, while the upholstered Antares chairs have a resistance below 0.1 MΩ. The chairs belong to the ESD antistatic construction range.

ESD stools and workshop chairs of the E series: castors or glides?

The Antistatic ESD workshop stool type E06 has a 34.6 × 34.6 cm seat made of PUR foam with a conductive finish, a seat height of 43–58 cm adjusted by a gas lift, a polished aluminium base on castors and a weight of 8 kg; it is resistant to dust and chemicals. The ESD workshop chair E04 adds a 45 cm backrest, a 43 × 40 cm seat and a Ø 620 mm base, with a seat height of 42–57 cm. The E06H, E01H and E04H variants have glides and a foot ring instead of castors.

Antistatic office chairs from Antares with armrests

The Antares 1380 SYN C ANTISTATIC work chair has polyurethane armrests, conductive parts and a resistance below 0.1 MΩ with a load capacity of 130 kg; the 1040 ANTISTATIC model carries 120 kg. To equip the entire ESD workstation, Enprag also offers ESD antistatic workbenches, ESD antistatic trolleys and ESD anti-static cabinets.

Frequently asked questions

What load capacity do ESD antistatic chairs have?

Enprag E-series workshop chairs and stools carry 130 kg, the upholstered Antares antistatic chairs 120–130 kg. All models therefore handle normal all-day use.

How high can an ESD stool be adjusted?

The Enprag E06 ESD stool adjusts by gas lift to a seat height of 43–58 cm, the E04 chair within 42–57 cm. This lets you match the seat height to the work surface.

What is the difference between an ESD chair with castors and one with glides?

The Enprag E06 and E04 models roll on castors with a polished aluminium base, while the E06H, E01H and E04H variants have glides and a foot ring. Both designs have a load capacity of 130 kg.

What electrical resistance do Antares antistatic chairs have?

Thanks to their conductive parts, the Antares antistatic chairs offered by Enprag have a resistance below 0.1 MΩ. They dissipate electrostatic charge and protect sensitive electronics.
