Enprag plastic joints are connecting and accessory parts made of ABS plastic for the pipe modular system – couplings, sleeves, plugs, distributors, hinges, plain bearings and name tag holders. They are used as a more economical alternative to metal joints, for example for quick attachment of lightweight materials. The catalogue lists them in widths of 28 or 37 mm, individual parts weigh from 2 to 48 g and the standard colours are Ivory and black.
Which plastic parts belong to the pipe system?
Plastic couplings differ in shape and weight: the Plastic coupling PJ-159 weighs 20 g, PJ-104C 48 g and PJ-130 for a tube with a diameter of 28 mm only 2.5 g. Sleeves PJ-113, PJ-141 or PJ-140A (6 g) hold accessories on the tube. Tube ends are closed with the internal plugs PJ-110S and PJ-110C, the external plug PJ-149BK and the APJ-110S_H cap for the HEAVY profile (2 g). The range is completed by the Plastic distributor PJ-199, the yellow UG-0165 distributor in a set of 4 pcs, the PJ-146 hinge, the PR-5428 plain bearing and the PJ-138B and PJ-138C name tag holders.
ABS joints for ESD workstations and stainless steel tubes
For antistatic workstations, the Internal plastic plug PJ-110S and PJ-110C are also made in a black ESD version; PJ-110S weighs 3.3 g and is compatible with the Logiform stainless steel tube. Where a stronger joint is needed, Enprag offers metal joints and lightweight aluminum joints. Plastic parts come with a 2-year warranty.
