Modular system components for workstations, racks and roller tracks
Lean modular system built from tubes, profiles and joints
Modular system components from Enprag are sets of parts – tubes, aluminum profiles, square steel tubes, joints and roller tracks – used to build workstations, racks, carts and flow lines for lean manufacturing without welding. Logiform tubes have a diameter of 28 mm, a length of 4,000 mm and a wall thickness of 0.7–2 mm; aluminum profiles range from 30 × 30 to 45 × 90 mm in cross-section and are cut to size up to 4 or 6 m. Structures are designed for a maximum deflection of 5 mm and can be rebuilt with the original parts when production changes.
Which modular system to choose: pipe system or aluminum profiles?
The pipe modular system suits applications that call for versatility and easy reconfiguration. Tubes come in steel with a synthetic resin coating, stainless steel, aluminum, safety and ESD versions and are joined with metal joints, e.g. the Metal joint – set HJ-1 with 2 MJ-2101 joints, a screw and a nut. Choose the aluminum profile system for higher loads and more demanding operation; profiles with an 8 or 10 mm slot are compatible with item, Bosch Rexroth, Haberkorn and Alutec systems. Both systems can be combined in one assembly, most often for racks, material handling carts and assembly workstations.
Modular system parts for warehouses, roller tracks and higher loads
Modular system parts also include roller tracks 35 and 40 mm wide and 4,000 mm long with Ø 27–46 mm rollers, plus holders for mounting them. They are used to build FIFO flow racks with a standard 3° slope as well as the rail system. For sturdier structures there is the square tube modular system made of galvanized 40 × 40 × 2 and 45 × 45 × 3 mm square tubes up to 6 m long and perforated 40 × 40 mm square tubes. As a guide, custom tables are designed for up to 500 kg, carts for up to 1 t and racks for up to several tonnes.

Frequently asked questions
When should I choose the pipe modular system and when aluminum profiles?
Choose the Enprag pipe system where you need versatility and easy reconfiguration, and aluminum profiles from 30 × 30 to 45 × 90 mm for higher loads and more demanding operation. Our designers will recommend the tube wall thickness (0.7–2 mm) based on the load capacity and size of the structure.
Can aluminum profiles be combined with the pipe system in one structure?
Yes, Enprag routinely combines aluminum profiles with Ø 28 mm tubes in a single assembly, most often for racks, material handling carts and assembly workstations. This lets you use each system where it brings the greatest benefit.
In what form are modular system components supplied?
Enprag supplies components in 3 forms: as material (tubes in 4 m bars and joints by the piece), as cut material with assembly instructions and a production drawing, or as fully assembled structures. Material in stock is delivered within a few days, finished assemblies usually within 2–4 weeks.
How are modular systems assembled and what tools are needed?
Your maintenance team can handle the assembly with 3 basic tools – an Allen key, a hammer and a screwdriver. Enprag also offers free assembly training in its showroom or at your site, and the assembly manual is freely available for download.
